Role Description
The Booking & Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for the operational management of bookings, customer and travel agent support, and consultancy in creating tailor-made itineraries.
The resource will play a key role in ensuring a high level of customer service, carefully managing every detail of the trip, and contributing to the development of personalized and high-quality travel experiences.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and enter bookings into company systems.
- Maintain daily communication with partners, clients, and suppliers.
- Provide assistance to clients and travel agencies, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Handle special requests, changes, and operational emergencies.
- Design and customize travel itineraries.
- Monitoraggio della customer experience e gestione delle eventuali criticità.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Product, Sales).
- Contribute to the optimization of processes and procedures within the Booking department.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Booking / Customer Service in a DMC, Tour Operator, or Travel Agency).
- Fluent knowledge of English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Portuguese is considered a strong plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to handle urgent situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of main booking systems and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with the Aves management system will be considered an advantage.
- Passion for the travel industry and strong customer orientation.
